1. Preparation

Before we even step foot on your roof, we ensure we have all necessary permits, including building and historical society permits. Then, old shingles, felt paper, and flashings are carefully removed. To minimize disruption to your property, our team does not use dumpsters. Instead, we use light dump trucks which are mobile, cleaner, and more efficient.



2. Inspection

Our team conducts a thorough inspection of the roof deck. Loose boards or sheathings are re-nailed and rotted wood is either repaired or replaced.



3. Installation

Since ice and water barriers are crucial, we install them in critical areas above gutters, in valleys, and around chimneys and skylights. Then, we apply a layer of high quality synthetic underlayment. Finally, we always install aluminum drip-edge to eliminate water run-off to fascia and siding.

Additionally, we change all pipe vent boots and install new flashings if necessary. We can also replace damaged chimney flashings and strongly recommend installing a ridge vent for every home.

4. Clean-Up

This step is just as important as the rest because nobody wants to come home to a mess. Our work areas are cleaned daily, and after completion of the project, we remove all rubbish and supplies.
